Magnifying glass in Flex

Hi All,

I was always looking for an example where I can get magnifying glass effect in Flex. All tutorials refer to flash but not flex. So I have created and uploaded a sample of magnifying glass in flex (a.k.a. zoom glass in flex). I have refereed Adobe live docs on displacement Map filter but the examples provided on the livedocs is not working as only copy and paste on FB. So I have done some changes to make it running. I hope it is very helpful to you because I did not get any running example on internet yet.

new link of source codehere

Thanks

  5. May seem silly but is there a way to do the same effect but over one's application and not just an image?

  6. Hi

Very cool. Might have a go at adding a mouse wheel listener to increase the glass size.

    Good job
